READING PRIDE: 10 Years Of Reading Pride

With glamorous compere Gina Tonic at the helm, the stage will host performances by the Thames Valley Gay Chorus, Marki, the Candy Bar Crew featuring Adam & The Drag Kings, Cecelia Delatori and the Burleskis.</p><p></p><p>The Main Stage</p><p></p><p>At 4.00pm, with Wilma Fingadoo compering proceedings, the first of the headline acts will step into the spotlight. We've got some really amazing singers performing this year - Nicolette Street, Daniel Fox, Lemon, B Minor, Anttix, Nicki French, Hazell Dean, Kelly Wilde, Tina Cousins, Rozalla, Angie Brown and Sonique - an extra-special line-up to mark our special 10th annual festival.</p><p></p><p>VIP Area</p><p></p><p>Push the boat out, just a little bit, by purchasing a wristband for our exclusive, covered VIP area, from where you can enjoy prime, uninterrupted views of the main stage. The area also incorporates separate toilet facilities and a private bar. VIP wristbands are available in advance from the Blagrave Arms, the Rising Sun and the Wynford Arms priced £8 each, or on the day for £10 each.</p><p></p><p>The Cabaret Tent</p><p></p><p>This year we are dedicating an entire stage to our fantastic line-up of artists from the U.K club circuit. With performances by Candy the Slag in Drag, Fonda Cox, Lucinda Lashes, Nicolette Street, Steven Hitchens and Reading's very own Wilma Fingadoo, expect unique renditions of some of your favourite songs and lots of cheeky banter. Please note that age restrictions will apply to cabaret tent entry.</p><p></p><p>The Market Place</p><p></p><p>Our popular Market Place area incorporates both commercial and charity stalls and offers a unique festival shopping experience. Whether you want to know more about a cause close to your heart, need specialised advice or support, or simply want to buy a souvenir or accessory to remind you of the fantastic day you’ve had, you’re sure to find something to pique your interest.</p><p></p><p>Food & Drink</p><p></p><p>You are welcome to bring a picnic with you, but if you'd rather dine on something hot, there will be numerous food stalls on site offering a diverse variety of cuisine including burgers, Caribbean street food, pizza, German bratwurst, burritos, toasties, hog roast and fish & chips. Vegetarian options will also be available.</p><p></p><p>If you plan to buy alcoholic drinks from one of the bars and are lucky enough to look under 25 please bring ID with you. If you're bringing your own food, please note that glass containers and alcohol will not be allowed onto the festival grounds.</p><p></p><p>Mayflower Society Trans Picnic</p><p></p><p>Tina from the Mayflower Society will be hosting a trans picnic at the festival. The picnic area will be easy to spot - just look for the Rolls Royce and Bentley cars!</p><p></p><p>Funfair</p><p></p><p>You’ll find all your favourite fairground attractions at the funfair located close to the festival entrance.</p><p></p><p>The Youth Zone</p><p></p><p>Our friends from Support U will be laying on fun and games for youngsters of all ages in the dedicated Youth Zone. Attractions include a bouncy castle, a giant ball pool and a play area with toys galore. Visitors will also be able to buy rainbow themed goodies, find out more about Support U from their information stall and receive advice on Health & Well-Being from the team from The Gym Group, whilst trans* visitors will receive a warm welcome in the R-Trans gazebo.</p><p> </p>
