Reno Gay Pride

Reno Gay Pride is a Nevada based Non-Profit Organization. The state of Nevada made history when Governor Bob Miller became the first Governor in the United States to sign a statewide Gay Pride proclamation for Nevada in 1996. Reno Gay Pride is the largest annual gathering of LGBT people in Northern Nevada – giving visibility to the community.Thousands of dollars are raised each year by local organizations and used for each of their individual causes – thanks to the continued efforts of Reno Gay Pride. The economic impact that Reno Gay Pride has on Northern Nevada directly benefits local business as they fill & swell with pride.

RENO, NEVADA, RGP (Reno Gay Pride) announced its 17th Annual Festival and Community Celebration. The event will take place Friday, August 16th and Saturday August 17th. Key events include the Friday PreShow VIP Welcome Party, Friday Comedy Night and Festival at Wingfield Park on Saturday 11am – 6pm. The Festival will be held along the Truckee River. Cool grass and shade trees of Wingfield Park and the River-Walk all provide the perfect backdrop to showcase the Reno Gay Pride Festival.

The 17th year of Gay Pride will reinforce Reno’s reputation as one of the leading LGBT destinations in the United States. “We have been working with the City of Reno and tourism representatives for the past 12 months to put together the upcoming 17th annual celebration. As the local community unites together for this milestone year, bars and clubs of Reno will host their own events. Local businesses are already planning a range of themed events from bears and leather parties to daytime events and drag competitions. For more information visit: www.RenoGayPride.com
