Reno Gay Pride 2014

Reno Gay Pride has grown bigger with each passing year and honors the diversity of the GLBT Community.

Thousands of visitors, families, friends and the Northern Nevada community look forward to festivities.

Reno Gay Pride celebrates 18 years of making positive changes in the inclusive spirit of showcasing diversity and community spirit. Reno Gay Pride is produced by: Nevada Gay and Lesbian Visitors & Convention Bureau (NGLVCB).

Under cool shade trees in Wingfield Park, along the Truckee River, guests will enjoy a full day of live performances and entertainment on the amphitheater stage.

Enjoy a wonderful day of shopping with our unique vendors… strolling through the beer garden… and sampling a variety of foods with friends and loved ones.

No pets allowed on park festival grounds – except for service dogs.

All Day Festival Access and Entertainment Ticket – $5.00 (Children admitted free when accompanied by an adult).

Reno Gay Pride – History

Lake Tahoe PrideFest was produced in 1996 as a Fund Raiser for P-FLAG of Northern Nevada. The state of Nevada made history when Governor Bob Miller became the first Governor in the United States to sign a statewide Gay Pride proclamation in 1996.

Reno Gay Pride is a registered Nevada Non-Profit Corporation and Reno Gay Pride members work hard each year to ensure the annual Gay Pride Celebration takes place. Reno Gay Pride is produced by Nevada Gay and Lesbian Visitors & Convention Bureau (NGLVCB).

Thousands of dollars are raised each year at Reno Gay Pride by local organizations that use the money raised at Reno Gay Pride for their individual causes - thanks to the continued efforts of Reno Gay Pride members. The economic impact that Reno Gay Pride has on Northern Nevada directly benefits local business and all local organizations that take advantage of the Festival.

Reno Gay Pride is the largest annual gathering of LGBT people in Northern Nevada – giving visibility to the community.  Reno Gay Pride is proud to belong to regional and international organizations such as CAPI and InterPride.

The LGBT Community has enjoyed this event for many years due to the hard work of so many dedicated people. Each year we invite our friends and family and indeed everyone in the community to share their pride at this celebration.
