May 4th sees the release of Return of the Fever, the sparkling new remix package from Scarlette Fever, featuring re-works by K-Warren who takes the underground into the overground, Rudedog’s main room peak time EDM slammer, 7th Heaven and DCM’s highly intoxicating anthemic sound – ahead of her brand new studio album Attack of the 6ft Woman.
The remixers have placed their own unique stamp on the previously unheard 6ft Woman and P.S. I Hate You (taken from the upcoming album), as well the previously released Where’s The Fun? out as a free download last year. Scarlette previously enjoyed three number two hit Music Week Club Chart peak positions as well as a Top Ten Club Chartbreaker with Jason Nevins on Crash & Burn in the USA Billboard.
Whetting our appetites with the remix EP, Scarlette will soon be returning with her official single from the new album this summer, plus she’s currently finalising details of a string of new UK shows, including Kilburn’s The Good Ship (30th April) and her return to headline The Borderline. Stay tuned for more details. Scarlette will also be appearing at Greenstock and Beautiful Days Fesitvals this summer.
Scarlette Fevercame to the fore in 2011 and built a solid fan base following live support tours with Lisa Stansfield, Caro Emerald, Mike + The Mechanics and Roachford. Throughout 2012 and 13 the band performed regularly in Los Angeles and the West Coast area of the USA; Scarlette Fever enjoyed continued UK media support in the form of consecutive BBC Radio 2 playlists for previous singles Crash & Burn and Elated.
Then came the autumn 2013 EP release Single White Female EP, which was produced with the acclaimed collaborators Steve Lironi (Altered Images, Space) on the UK live tracks, Tommy Faragher (Dusty Springfield) curated the studio session in the USA and with mixes from Pete Craigie (Bellowhead, Rubylux) and Ash Howes (Texas, Ellie Goulding). The EP included the emotive ballad Sunday Best, as seen on the stunning Balcony TV session, written with guitarist Chris Moorhead (Seth Lakeman) alongside keyboard player, Angie Pollock (Goldfrapp, Peter Gabriel).
