It is also a well-established cruising spot among London's gay community. This project proposes to design a series of guided tours of Abney Park and produce an audiovisual project that explores these different and unacknowledged uses of the site, bringing together wildlife lovers and people who use the cemetery for sex. Why is Abney Park such a magnet for birds, insects and people looking for a good time? What is the specific appeal and attraction of sex in the open air?
