A Senior.NET Developer who will be responsible for the software architecture, design, development, and maintenance of software services and web based application software products.

Senior .Net Developer for Gay Media Company

The Senior.NET Developer must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in distributed Object Oriented programming skills including ASP.NET WebFormsMVC and C . The ability to take charge of defining and implementing practical software solutions that can adjust to rapid changing business needs is a must. Strong written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to work with all levels of IT management are required. This role will also be called upon frequently to be a contributing member of an agile development team.

The Senior.NET Developer must have a natural bias toward test-driven software development. Architecture skill also desirable. The ability to provide technical strategic thinking along with day-to-day hands-on software implementation in project work represents the challenges of this position. Job Duties Deliver quality software releases on schedule in a professional environment currently implementing Agile processes Collaborate on creating release schedule Develop new customizations and enhancements Support and maintain existing functionality Be the escalation point for production software issues Develop Functional and Technical Designs Oversee Unit Testing, test automation, and Source Control Self –Starter, able to work independently or within a multi-faceted team Participate in Requirements definition Lead development team Demonstrate prototypes andor released application software to internal team Successfully navigate both the business and developer audience in solution development Education, Knowledge and Skills, Certifications In depth experience in architecting, designing, and building large scale distributed services-oriented systems.

8+ years of recent experience in C. 5+ years ASP.NET and SQL. Experience with NHibernate is necessary. 5+ years of hands-on SOA design and implementation experience using Microsoft technology 5+ years of recent experience in development of responsive software applications.

Must have 5+ years of hands-on design and implementation experience using MVC Experience in writing Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Views, using SQL Server (Transact SQL) Understands complex relational database concepts and strategies. Designed and developed enterprise level architecture for web applications. Designed and developed service oriented architecture solutions. Web UI (ASP, ASP.net and Ajax) experience.

Strong Javascript JQuery skills. Familiar with and eager to work in an agile environment. Understands browser-specific compatibility issues. Experienced with Web based N-tier database applications.

Knowledge of developing and consuming Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services Designed and developed integrations with third party systems. Demonstrated ability to work with other teams within an organization such as Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Technical support. Working knowledge of .NET Framework 3.03.54.0 ASP.Net 4.0 SQL Server 2008 – database design and optimization. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture.
