When we started this project in 2007, we felt the need to highlight resources for the LGBTQ community.  We wanted to showcase businesses that supported the community, tell stories of folks who were making an impact and feature organizations that were on the ground every day providing much need resources and support were visible and accessible.  Our goal was to empower our community through jobs, resources, and support.

Probably more than anything, our readers enjoy our event postings.  We celebrate Pride in all forms from film festivals to kink events to business networking and we try to offer a wide geographical spectrum.  Sure big stuff is there like Frameline, IML and NGLCC – but we also strive to include smaller, lesser know events to offer visibility and reach into communities with fewer opportunities to connect to their queer counterparts.

OK, here is comes – you knew there would be an ask, there’s always an ask.  What exactly do we want in return? You!

Send us your events, tell us about great businesses, share safe spaces and folks who are making an impact every day in LGBTQ lives. Tell us your stories #PrideStories. Become a volunteer editor.  Tell your friends about us.  Sign up for the newsletter.  Connect with us on social media.

Now, more than ever – we need to love and support one another.

Cerebral Palsy and LGBT

Cerebral Palsy and LGBT

My team and I are raising awareness for bullying as well as LGBT History. You can find out more at cerebralpalsyguidance.com/cerebral-palsy/living/lgbt/.

As you may know, children with disabilities are sometimes more likely to be bullied than their non-disabled peers. This includes children that are also part of the LGBT community. Obviously, this is not a good thing.

Having cerebral palsy, I understand how critical it is for parents of a child with CP to have access to reliable information, especially when it comes to delicate topics like these. Equally as important, I represent CerebralPalsyGuidance.com because I believe in their mission of providing quality cerebral palsy information and assistance to families in need.

I certainly admire your website. With the passing of National Bullying Prevention and upcoming LGBT Pride Month, it would be an honor to see our this information highlighted and linked to from your website at seasonsofpride.com/lgbt-gay-resources-links/http://seasonsofpride.com/gay-parenting-groups-and-resources/. If there’s room for a link to cerebralpalsyguidance.com, please let me know.

Anything you can do to help spread awareness and further education would go a long way.

Thanks again for your time in advance, and I look forward to hearing back.

Kindly,

Alex
