Scottee and Japan's People

Under the current plans proposed by the government the Regents Park Estate will become the site for High Speed 2 railway and with it the demolition of 200 social houses, 3 open spaces, the police station and the Dick Collins Hall. The Dick Collins Hall has seen births, deaths, marriages and no doubt the odd crossed word, acting as meeting place for local people since the late 60s.

Camp (on the Estate) is a special festive edition of his now infamous, sell-out variety showcase featuring some of the world’s leading show offs including East London’s first lady of female impersonation Jonny Woo, terrible twosome Bourgeois & Maurice deliver more optimism than a John Lewis advert, aspiring comedian and unlucky in love Bryony Kimmings, master of mimicry Dickie Beau channels a local queen, tip top tapper Josephine Shaker and the campest hula hooper this side of Kansas Donald Choi screams ‘Hello Sailor’. In-house dance troupe Japan's People throw shapes and shade between acts plus Mr Glanville plays knees up on the Joanna for your entertainment.

Expect a mixed bill of camp clichés, bolshie barmaids, limp wrists, games shows and catch phrases smashed together with some cheap laughs, naff tinsel and lots of good old-fashioned light entertainment.
