But when he begins living his life as Rachael Jones, there are inevitable consequences. Based on interviews with Rachael herself, Rachael’s Café is the true story of an ordinary man in an unusual situation, who risks everything to be true to himself. From bigoted Texans to shocking family revelations via run-in’s at airport security, an unexpected call from Obama, and the creation of a friendly, inclusive café, Rachael’s story is told with frankness and a great sense of humour in this heart-warming one-woman show, which comes to London after acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh, Brighton and Dublin Fringe Festivals.
