Last year Stage West’s holiday show was the stellar Jersey Boys, showing that the company can create on its smaller stage a show that measures up to the large-scale touring productions. This year, they are once again tackling a huge blockbuster musical in Mamma Mia. The touring version has hit Calgary to sell out crowds since it’s debut in 1999, grossing more than 4 billion worldwide.
