I decided to have my first child in the form of a puppy miniature schnauzer, who I named Babu. I've got a wealth of experience from having two dogs in a previous relationship (three if you actually include the boyfriend), including puppy training- so surely this time round will be a walk in the park. </p><p></p><p>One of my besties comes to visit the pup on the second day of me having her. It's Wednesday, 5.30pm, and I open the door puffy eyed, hair a la scare, still in my pyjamas clutching the pup newborn style, on the verge of tears. </p><p></p><p>She is constant. I'm on my feet all the time, I'm sick of the word NO, and like a true parent I sleep only when she sleeps.
