Press Release for Skyrider Films and the Coffee Talk Webisode
Gays in sports: Would you flirt with your teammates?
Skyrider Films Chicago presents “Football,” the second episode of Coffee Talk, a comedic web series about gay men discussing guy things.
Gay college football player Cage would tell someone he’s gay, if somebody asked. His flamboyant roommate Larry can’t believe he didn’t check out his teammates on his first day on the team just to avoid any trouble. How openly gay can Cage be in his college football team?
Director Stefan Pfister on Coffee Talk: “The recent coming out of NBA pro-athlete Jason Collins indicates that many gay athletes must be still in the closet. They love their sports but have a fear of being kicked off the team if they decide to come out. The “Football” episode wants to create awareness about the inner conflict these athletes face on a daily basis and promotes an open discourse about homosexuality in sports.”
The comedic web series Coffee Talk features gay college students meeting up for coffee and intimately talking about important guy things. Each episode runs three to four minutes and targets gay and gay-friendly audiences who loves informative and entertaining web comedies that also have a moment of truth.
