Independent artist Young Kaii formerly and respectively known as K-Star is at it again: REINEVTION. The Female rapper is known for reinventing her style of music and sound not because of lack of luster but more importantly growth. No stranger to the music industry 10 year vet Young Kaii has the ability to not only churn experiences into fuel of motivation but also bring a distinctive flavor to her music Her newest mix-tape Young Kaii VS K-STAR is no exception to this rule of thumb. Drawing inspiration at the tender age of 14 this female rapper was heavily influenced not only by the likes of Tupac, Biggie and, Mase but also the sweet sounds of the late great songstress Selena female powerhouse Missy Elliot and producer Timberland. Music played such a role in the artist’s life to stray from a life of anger and uncomfortable home life down a path of healing through sounds which became therapeutic in the midst of a storm. Developing the craft of music and professionalism Young Kaii began to gain a level of respect from fellow musicians and industry professionals. Being groomed for what was thought to be the ideal break need to be a house hold name Young Kaii faced a fork in the road between authenticity and puppetry: ultimately ended in making the choice to remain true to self.
