The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Provides HR consultation support for employees on a variety HR-related topics.
- Analyzes and interprets sensitive internal and external ER activities.
- Responsible for ensuring that HR files are in compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Responsible for recruitment, selection (in collaboration with hiring manager), on boarding of new staff.
- Identifies training needs for staff.
- Develops and interprets HR policy and Employee Handbook.
- Provides orientation.
- Communicates best practices and oversees select vendor relationships for HR.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.
Human Resources Manager Pride Institute
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred.
- Must have strong HR generalist background.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years HR experience, preferably in a behavioral health hospital environment.
- Able to work collaboratively and effectively with the field to achieve good outcomes.
- Must be responsive in managing issues that require timely management/oversight.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
- Must maintain sensitive employee information as confidential.
- Knowledge of Lawson, Microsoft office (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), etc.
