Industry X.0 – Electrical Engineer with Power

Electrical Engineer, Associate Manager
- Manage/execute Electrical/Power related projects.
- Interface with clients and help resolve project issues.
- Participate as a high-level technical lead and/or project manager on projects as a way to stay engaged with the staff, customers, and maintain chargeability.
- Understand and follow standards, methods, and procedures to be used in the development and implementation of electrical engineering and design. This includes substation and distribution design at system voltage levels up to and including 138kV.
- Perform the engineering review process to ensure that established standards, methods, procedures are followed.
- Remain current on industry guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Provide electrical specifications as required.
- Interface with client or end-user to define project requirements, design, and specifications.
- Demonstrate a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities, and implemented in work designed.
- Mentor Jr. engineers and designers.
- Travel Required.

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
5-7 years experience in Industrial Electrical/Power Engineering

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Qualifications

Field experience
Experience working in the onshore oil and gas industry or onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining
General understanding of typical engineering deliverables
Understand industry codes and standards such as: NEC, IEEE, ISA, and API
Working knowledge of SKM
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must work well in a team environment
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
