In addition to career opportunities, we offer internship positions in our Behavioral Health Services department for graduate students looking to become clinicians as well as other internships and field placement opportunities for a variety of fields which relate to human services and non-profit management. Through internships, student clinical training and field placement opportunities, Center on Halsted offers diverse opportunities to graduate students looking to expand their professional experiences while helping to build and strengthen the LGBTQ community. Many of the field placements and internships at Center on Halsted are focused on student clinical training as part of the Behavioral Health Program; however, there are opportunities for students in a variety of fields and disciplines. Possible candidates for internships could include students pursuing degrees in social work, psychology, behavioral health, counseling, non-profit management, law, public administration, business administration, public health and/or youth development. Inquiries into a specific area of interest should be directed towards the appropriate contact person for that program area:
- For administration and development, Modesto Valle.
- For Senior programming, Britta Larson.
- For Behavioral Health programming, Ashley Molin or click here.
