The first London Bearfest, a week-long festival celebrating the ever growing international bear scene. Taking place across the capital between 18 – 26 May, it will bring together bears, cubs, otters & admirers from all over the world to enjoy a week of furry and chunky fun in this cosmopolitan city. Throughout the week we will be raising vital funds and awareness for our chosen charity The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation.

As well as major events, club nights & parties there will also be more intimate events, including restaurant outings, cabaret shows, sing a-longs and the ‘Big bear Bar Crawl’.
Kurt Hoffman, Artistic Director of London Bearfest 2014 comments: “I’m extremely excited and really proud to bring together the bear community with the very first London Bearfest being held in one of the greatest cities in the world.”
The Festival takes place right across London: from Soho, Hoxton and Marble Arch to Waterloo, Vauxhall and Clapham – and it appeals to all groups and persuasions; the overarching aim of London Bearfest 2014 is to celebrate bear culture in all its diverse and hirsute chunky joy!
Participating venues include: The Kings Arms, The Eagle, East Bloc, The RVT, Manbar, All-Star Bowling lanes, Admiral Duncan, Central Station, Pleasuredrome, The Vault and City of Quebec.
Events (to date) include: Bearfest Launch party, Where the Bears R party, Bowling Bears, Bear Quiz, Tonker, CUB CLUB, #BearArt, Bearoke, Beartacular! The Show, Bear Vs Food, Paunchy, Come To Daddy, Bearhug, Dirty Beary. We are delighted to be supported by GROWLr and Bear World Magazine. London Bearfest is committed to raising vital funds and awareness for their chosen charity the Ben Cohen StandUp foundation.
