The National LGBT Bar Foundation, an affiliate of the American Bar Association, is looking for someone to help the organization cultivate new members, and deepen its relationship with donors, sponsors and other supporters. This position, which reports to the Director of Development, will also oversee day-to-day management of The LGBT Bar’s new “We Mean Business” campaign, highlighting the connection between Bar membership and business cultivation.
Membership Ambassador National LGBT Bar Association
Specific Responsibilities Include:- Recruitment of new organizational members, with a specific focus on corporate counsel members.
- Representing The LGBT Bar at professional conferences and events throughout the country, including tabling, member recruitment and public speaking.
- Assisting the Director of Development with attendee and sponsor recruitment for the organization’s “Out & Proud” corporate counsel awards receptions.
- Helping to further develop, and roll-out, the “We Mean Business” campaign, including strategic, creative planning on program materials, events and publicity.
- Assisting with the organization’s annual Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair.
- Working with the Executive Director and Director of Development to identify, and deepen relationships with, key existing and potential donors, sponsors and high-level members.
