Whilst staying true to their electro/dance music roots, Naked Highway dips into its bag of tricks ‘n’ treats to amp up the guitars for their first Halloween-themed single. Directed by Adam Peditto, the video depicts a dinner party gone horribly wrong – as the guests find out that they themselves are on the menu!
Group founder Sy Boccari says, “Growing up, I was a Goth so it’s fun to draw upon that as the inspiration for this video. ‘Cannibal‘ is also our first PG-13 music video in quite some time, but it’s still distinctly Naked Highway – we’re still campy and as over-the-top as we ever were! We also want to work outside of a strict electronic music realm. It’s fun to make some guitar noise – and it still has our signature sound and humor all over it!”
The duo spent the summer promoting their first-ever iTunes charting single “Off Ya Clothes,” and producing remixes for Australia’s dance floor powerhouse Parralox. Naked Highway also contributed music to the Australian web drama The Horizon (25M+ YouTube views & counting) and also produced the theme to Willam Belli’s (of RuPaul’s Drag Race) new web series Paint Me Bitch.
As a live act, Naked Highway has performed at Sonar Festival (Barcelona), CMJ (NYC), North By Northeast (Toronto), Miami Winter Music Conference, as well as on tours across the North America and Europe.
