Tips For Posting Content and Using The Text / HTML Editor On The Post Page.

1. When posting featured content.. such as blogs, news, press release or video content to our site, it is best to go to the area of our site for the type of content your posting and follow the “Post” links for that item.  We might have rules or tips posted about the type of item your trying to posting.  However, any post link you follow all lead to the same post page.  Here we are explaining how to use that page.
2. We do have a short cut to get to the post page.  Look at the top of the site in the black bar area.  See where it says “+ New ” ?  If you hover on that a box will open.  Follow the post link and it will take you to the post page.
3. On the post page you will see two boxes.  A small one at the top and a bigger one at the bottom.  In the top box type what you want the title of your post to be.
4. This next step is very important.  Before you start writing your post please tell us what your posting.  Look in the right column for the box titled Categories.  Check off the box for the one that most fits what your posting.  Please only check off one of them.  If you check of all of them as some do your post might not get listed in the right area of the site.  Because you might not like the one we pick for you.
5. Start typing your post in the large box.  Look at the top right corner of the editor. You will see “Visual” and “Text”.  The visual box is for typing and editing your post.  The text box is to edit or add html coding.  If you don’t have code to embed its better to use the visual box.
6. In the visual box you will find and editor at the top of the box to edit the style, add links and other such features.
7. If you have an embed code from a video, photo, music player or some other type of code you can enter it in the “text” box area.
8. We do not permit uploading of media files for pictures or video, however you do have full access to our html area to add such content.  If you have a video or photos from another source you can embed the html code to use it here.  For Youtube videos you do not need to use an embed code.  You can use the share link that they supply.  Our system is set up to recognize the link and auto embed the video.
9. Be sure to add your contact info to the bottom of your post.
10. When finished hit the “Submit for Review” button.  We will make it live on our next site update.
