Dublin Pride 2015
Pride Village will take pride of place at Merrion Square at the end of the parade in one of the most iconic and picturesque locations within Dublin city centre. Here we will have live acts and speeches from some of the most influential people and organisations in Ireland.
The 2015 Dublin Pride Parade will be held on Saturday the 27th of June 2015. Assembly for the parade will start at 12 noon and the parade will begin moving through Dublin at 1:30pm sharp. It will start at the Garden of Remembrance at Parnell Square, and proceed through the streets of Dublin. The exact route will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The parade is a celebration of the rich diversity of the LGBTQ community in Dublin, Ireland and the world, with an expanded arts, social and cultural content. Dublin Pride is the largest such celebration in Ireland and has grown from a one-day event into the 10-day festival we have now. In 2014 we had over 45,000 people marching.
So get your thinking hats on, come up with your costumes, float ideas, group outfits to show how you live, love and are proud. Let’s make it an explosion of colour, music, glitter, sequins and even feather boas.
This year the parade will assemble at the Garden of Remembrance from 12am and will embark on its route at 1:30pm sharp. From there it will head through Dublin and will finish at Merrion Square Park for our Pride Village.
