Queer City Cinema – Queer City Cinema Inc. (based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) was initiated in 1996 as a biennial film and video festival and has, over the years, come to program both media art and performance art. The organization now presents two festivals annually – Performatorium: Festival of Queer Performance and Queer City Cinema: Media Arts Festival.
These two festivals comprise the two main activities of the organization. Other activities that have occurred are tours of media art since 2000 with the most recent being a coast-to-coast tour in Canada in 2011. Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, St. Johns, Halifax, Victoria.
