Every year, NYC Pride awards thousands of dollars in grants to local LGBT-friendly and LGBT-serving community organizations. These grants are “working” grants: in order to receive funds, members or volunteers from an organization must perform specific functions or services—as a group—at NYC Pride’s annual events.
