Queer Festival May appeared on the social map of Krakow in 2009. The main objectives of this initiative are to initiate and sustain discussion on issues relevant to the LGBTQ people , to promote open attitudes to difference and diversity and integrate LGBTQ community . 
Equality March is an annual manifestation, during which gays, Lesbians, bisexual, transgender, their families, friends and friends go through the streets of Krakow to express their opposition to discrimination and exclusion primarily due to the non-normative sexuality and sexuality, but also because of the ethnic origin, age, disability, religion or lack of religious beliefs or economic status. During March we pay attention to, inter alia, need to introduce a policy of equality and anti-discrimination law, the need to free expression of their identity, as well as the broader social solidarity. www.queerowymaj.org
