Second Man Arrested After Homophobic Attack In London

Police have confirmed that a second man has now been arrested in connection to an assault in London on two gay men.

In the early hours of Saturday morning (1st November) two men were homophobically attacked in Kingston Borough.

After an appeal by the Met Police, two men, both aged 26, have now been arrested in connection with the attack.

The victims aged 18 and 21 both suffered facial injuries. One of the men was thrown to the floor where he was kicked and stamped upon.

Both suspects were arrested on Tuesday, 4 November on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and common assault.

They have since been bailed to return to a west London police station in mid December pending further inquiries.
