This September, there will be a Dallas Pride celebration event specifically for LGBT teens. Real Live Connection is hosting a Dallas Teen Pride Festival on September 14, Noon-4p, in the Caven Enterprises parking lot.

“Paratrooper Day” Brings More Anti-Gay Horribleness in Russia

Paratroopers attacked a lone gay rights activist Friday in St. Petersburg. Kirill Kalugin raised a rainbow flag to protest Russia’s anti-gay law. A group of paratroopers, celebrating Russian Paratroopers Day, threatened him, assaulted him, and formed a human chain around him.
Russian police arrested two of the paratroopers.

Four more North Texas gay bars have decided to stop carrying Russian vodka. Randy Norman announced on his Facebook page that The Rainbow Lounge, Best Friends Club, and Randy’s Club Cherries all “will dump Stolichnaya Vodka” (as of today at 6pm).
