Homer Simpson has released a picture of what really happened at the Oscars, when Ellen’s tweet broke Twitter.

A picture has emerged from Homer J Simpson’s official twitter account that shows the true story behind *that* selfie that ‘broke’ twitter.

Ellen’s Oscar tweet has broken all records with the most retweets ever. The tweet managed 1.7m retweets before Twitter went offline. The previously most shared tweet was by President Obama who managed over 600K retweets.
