The exciting return of the VAULT Festival brings live music, performance and eighteen late night events to London. Waterloo’s Leake Street tunnels have been transformed into a must-visit destination for the creative and curious; a place for debate, drinking, dancing and more.

At 10.30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the festival, the atmospheric caverns of VAULT become an underground nightclub, featuring one-off parties and extravaganza in a series of events brought to VAULT by Time Out Live, including the ravishing House of Burlesque, which brings glamour to the tunnels with performances by burlesque artistes from around the globe on Friday 21 February.

The Art of Hearts is a Valentine’s Evening Ball from collective the Artful Badger, where secret performances, two rooms of music, stalls, games and dancers will provide amorous arts for the romantically rampant. On 22 February, the labyrinthine tunnels will be filled with an eclectic mix of electronic music from the likes of Activia Benz and Soltek DJs for Electronic Lockdown. Celebrating their 5th birthday, the nabakov Arts Club brings the best in alternative arts culture to VAULT spanning theatre, spoken word and music – all in the guise of a double birthday knees up on Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March.

For those looking to shelter from the winter chill, VAULT’s bar is open to the public until 10.30pm every night. Explorers can warm themselves with Adnams cask ale, or their award-winning gin, or follow Hunter S Thompson’s lead with Wild Turkey bourbon. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9.00pm and 11.00pm, live swing music meets New Orleans jazz with performances from the Kansas Smitty’s – for free. Snacks and food will be available every night courtesy of adventurer/chef Coyote Moon.

Alongside the Lates and free bar events, there is a wide-ranging performance programme headlined by two new stage productions: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and The Cement Garden. With at least five shows every night, plus free live music and the Lates, no two days at VAULT will be the same. For the full performance listings and tickets, please visit: www.thevaultfestival.com
