The Sound Of Music

What a great venue to see Maria Von Trapp sing her lungs out and twirl around the Alps! Wholesome fresh air combined with a bit of yodelling is just what the singing nuns would approve of on British summer evening. This looks like it’s going to be one of this summer’s hottest tickets so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical will conclude the 2013 Open Air Theatre season, playing from 25 July to 7 September with Laurence Olivier Award nominees Charlotte Wakefield (Maria Rainer) and Michael Xavier (Captain Von Trapp) leading the cast
