Uptown Players Announce 3rd Annual Pride Performing Arts Festival

This year, Uptown Players will celebrate its third annual Dallas Pride Performing Arts Festival. It’s nine days (Sept 5 – 14) of plays, staged readings, and cabaret acts celebrating Dallas Gay Pride.

The series kicks off with music and comedy duo Amy Armstrong and Freddy Allen. That’s on the main stage of the Kalita Humphreys Theater Sept 5 at 8p. The rest of the scheduled shows will be held at Franks Place upstairs at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. It will include readings and plays by Uptown Players, Theatre New West, Our Productions, and Second Thought Theater.
